This video server unit is designed as a move towards Home Automation and not solely as a remote viewer for compatible USB cameras.
The unit can connect to your existing internet connection either wirelessly, when used with our USB WiFi dongle CHZ003 (below), or via a standard RJ45 ethernet cable. The additional RS232 port allows for the connection of a Passive Infrared motion sensor CHPIR01 (see below).

With a powered USB hub you can connect multiple USB devices such as two USB cameras, a USB flash disk and our USB WiFi dongle.
